This excursion is a good alternative for people who have only one day in Arequipa and want to realize a small hike without having to make several hours of transportation. This trek can also facilitate your acclimatization before going at higher altitudes (for example Colca, Puno and Cusco).
We will pick you up at your hotel at the scheduled time. Then we'll have 30 minutes of transportation to the little village of Sogay, built mainly with white volcanic stones (the famous " Sillar "). Afterwards, we will begin the hike. Walk about 45 minutes and we’ll cross the river repeatedly to arrive to the first waterfalls. We will pursue the ascent up to the last waterfall, the highest and most impressive. We’ll be able to bathe in the natural ponds, enjoy the sun and rest a bit. Return to our vehicle (45 minutes). Along the way to Arequipa, we’ll make some stops to enjoy the landscapes. Arrival at your hotel.
