This trip is one of the most beautiful that you can do in the surroundings of Arequipa!
The tour conductor will pick you up with the private car around 7AM and you’ll have a 2h drive to reach the Natural Reserve “Salinas y Aguada Blanca”. You will make some stops on the way to observe the flora and fauna. You can discover vicunas, llamas, fox, flamingos, eagles…
Then, you’ll follow the path to the Paccha’s waterfall. First, you’ll be on top of it on the left side, and to arrive at the bottom of this waterfall of 60 meters, you will have to walk during two hours. It's really worth it thanks to the great view you can enjoy there. You will lunch on site and you can relax in this beautiful environment. For the more courageous, you can have a swim in the fresh water.
Way back walking to the vehicle to return to Arequipa in the late afternoon.
We recommend you to bring water, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, hiking shoes, insect repellent, a swimsuit, a towell and trekking poles for this hike to the waterfall of Paccha.
In case of vertigo, it's better to choose another trek as the access path to the Paccha Waterfall is very steep at times.
